Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That’s the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what’s the use of crying?
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

Mad ♥ Monday. The L.O.V.E. edition!
So, I know Valentines Day was yesterday and all…..but… I don’t care! I’m dragging it along today! Mostly because I found some really cute little love items over the past week and wanted to share!
#1. If you have a nerdy bf like I do, you will loooove these adorable little cards from Pop and Shorty. Most of what Michael tells me about his work is foreign to me but I do know that these are programming languages. He was cracking up when I showed him this card! Check out her site for some more goodies!
#2. Really, like really? I love this pillow by HoneyPieDesign on Etsy! She has a bunch of the cutest pillows on her etsy site! Check them out HERE!
#3. Ah, this ring. Oh..to only have this ring…
I’ve had this ring bookmarked for a long while now. I love how simple it is and one of these days I swear I’m going to have it on my own finger! Head over to ByBoe and look at all the beauties over there. If you like simple and gold..consider yourself warned.
#4. Sarah & Bendrix make theeee cutest framed heart collections! There are so many to choose from, I honestly had a hard time choosing just one to show you!

The lovely Lydia from ever ours posted this video on Friday and I HAD to show it today! I love the domino effect they did in the video!! Thank you Lydia for posting this! Go over to ever ours. to look at more beauties =)
ah. day 46. I love my instax.

45/365 & Happy Lovers Day :)
Happy Valentines Day friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful day; whether you celebrate today or not =)
So… this was a really fun little project I decided to do last night. I found THIS tutorial a while ago and never got around to doing it! So, I figured what better day to try it out then Valentines Day!
“How the eff did we do this??” you’re asking…Well..basically, I did just what the tutorial shows..cut a tiiiiiiny heart out of a piece of paper and covered my 50mm lens with it. Usually, when you drop your fstop to the smallest aperture your lens will go it will make everything blurry in the background.. (or whatever you’re not focusing on). And whatever is blurry will usually be little circles. Well, by making a heart instead of a circle which your lens makes, voila!! HEARTS! So….Michael and I went out late last night and drove around downtown to find some lights! We had so much fun doing this and I think I’m going to try out some other shapes soon too!
Without any further nonsense blabber.. here’s day 45! Go tell someone you love them.
oops! Sorry, totally forgot to add the link!! Click HERE for it =)

Here’s a fun little collage of all the fun photos we got =) The very bottom right one is so cute because it’s a car’s backlights, it almost looks like it is supposed to be like that!

…I’ll leave you with my two favorite photos. I love how the light gave it a sort of vintage feel. The trees downtown were covered in lights, it alllmost made hearts but the lights were just too small.
