Oh, the power of social networking!

Jenna and I met at a Starbucks after she had emailed me about getting together! We instantly clicked and I love that I’ve found a “photography friend” here in Sacramento! We got together a few weeks ago and decided to challenge ourselves by shooting mid-day. Which, in my opinion, is the worst time to shoot! But, to my surprise, I’m pretty happy with the way these photos came out! I think, as long as you are aware of how extremely bright the sun is and work with it, you can achieve some great shots!

Last week Michael, Kelsey, Amanda and I trudged through the forest (not really, but almost) down to the river to do a little styled shoot. We had been trying to plan a shoot together for what seemed like months and finally set a date to do it! Amanda rocked it as our model. I think all those episodes of America’s Next Top Model really helped because she was totally smyzing the whole time =)  Here are just a few of my favorites!
