Happy Monday, my friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and showered your Moms with ♥

I surprised my Mom today and made a drive down to Visalia!! I totally lied and told her I was working all day and when I got to her house she was no where to be found! I guess that would be my fault! lol. But it all ended well and her and my Gma both were so surprised! I LOOVE surprises..but only when they’re not directed at me =)

Now, onto some of my favorite things!

#1. I love this fun new trend going around! Cake Pops!! How easy would these be at a party instead of worrying about cutting the cake and all the mess that goes with it! Well, here’s a simple video tutorial on exactly HOW to make them! I really want to try it out soon and see how it goes! Even if it’s just for Michael and I…what?

#2. One of my friends, Suzy…who is actually the Mom of little Olivia, {her post is just a couple down}. Well, Suzy’s Mom, Shelley makes the most beautiful decoupage plates! I just got the ones that were made for my Mom and Gma for Mothers Day and couldn’t be happier with them! Both my Mom and Gma absolutely LOVED their plates, and mine is gorgeous too!!! I highly suggest visiting her site to see her incredible talent and all of the different designs she can do for you!

#3. How fun is this DIY? I love this idea for a gift too and it’s really easy to do! {I’m such a poet =) } All you need is a few soup cans and some cork and voila!! Head over to Design Sponge for the whole tutorial!

#4. Letterpress. Ah…. I just love the way letterpress looks. On a business card, invitation, you name it! Over at (oh, hello friend.) you can find a whole post dedicated to the wonderful world of letterpress! Go check out all of the gorgeous cards!
