45/365 & Happy Lovers Day :)
Happy Valentines Day friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful day; whether you celebrate today or not =)
So… this was a really fun little project I decided to do last night. I found THIS tutorial a while ago and never got around to doing it! So, I figured what better day to try it out then Valentines Day!
“How the eff did we do this??” you’re asking…Well..basically, I did just what the tutorial shows..cut a tiiiiiiny heart out of a piece of paper and covered my 50mm lens with it. Usually, when you drop your fstop to the smallest aperture your lens will go it will make everything blurry in the background.. (or whatever you’re not focusing on). And whatever is blurry will usually be little circles. Well, by making a heart instead of a circle which your lens makes, voila!! HEARTS! So….Michael and I went out late last night and drove around downtown to find some lights! We had so much fun doing this and I think I’m going to try out some other shapes soon too!
Without any further nonsense blabber.. here’s day 45! Go tell someone you love them.
oops! Sorry, totally forgot to add the link!! Click HERE for it =)

Here’s a fun little collage of all the fun photos we got =) The very bottom right one is so cute because it’s a car’s backlights, it almost looks like it is supposed to be like that!

…I’ll leave you with my two favorite photos. I love how the light gave it a sort of vintage feel. The trees downtown were covered in lights, it alllmost made hearts but the lights were just too small.

Aww I love this! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! xo
