#1. These Shoes! All of a sudden, I want these. Badly! I just love the old, vintage feel to an oxford. Plus they look adorable with just about everything.

#2. Love Is The Killer App, by Tim Sanders. I’ve had this book for months, and today I finally sat down and opened it up. I talked about all the raves I’ve heard about it from my 365 yesterday but I’m going to talk about it more. Tim talks about opening up your knowledge for others, being a “Lovecat” as he likes to call it. I recently got an email from someone asking about a mentor session, she mentioned that she had asked some other photographers in her area and no one was very willing to help. That just baffles me, how could you not want to share your passion with someone else who shares the same? That’s what this book is all about; networking, sharing your knowledge and contacts, etc… I can’t wait to read more, and when I do I’m sure I’ll have another post on it =)

#3. Getting rid of crap. It’s a new year, time to clean out the closet! The past couple of days, Michael and I have been going through boxes, clothes and shoes. Trying to simplify. Finally getting rid of that shirt that I keep thinking maybe one day will be in style again and/or fit me. So, these are the bags of our crap. yep, a giant ikea bag full, and two huge H&M bags. We’re hoping for big money from FreeStyle and Crossroads.

#4. This amazing video. Michael showed me this video which is multiple interviews with Will Smith. He is so inspirational and his words are so moving. I got teary just listening to him speak about life. It really changes your outlook on life and your goals. These are my absolute favorite quotes from this video: “I want the world to be better, because I was here.” & “If you’re not making someone elses life better, then you’re wasting your time. Your life will become better, by making other lives better.” There are so many amazing things that he says. I want to print out all of his quotes and put them all over my apartment. I really can’t say enough great things about him. Please, please watch this video, I promise it will make you think differently.

#5. Monogrammed….anything! Well, excluding towels. Urban and Anthro always have the cutest monogrammed jewelry. I think I like it because it sets you apart from everyone else. Plus, it’s just plain cute =)
