Good Afternoon ♥

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I’ve spent it at the coast doing a maternity shoot on the beach and spending time with Darren and Lola, the Ewok =) In between eating and shooting and laughing, I’ve gathered a few favorite things from this past week! Hope you enjoy them!

#1. I’m currently obsessed with collages. Although, I don’t like to call them collages because that makes me think of junior high when you would make a collage of photos of you and your friends and tuck it inside of the front of your binder. Ya know? So ya, um…I’ll call them organized messes on the wall. I like them =)

#2. I stumbled upon these gorgeous linens on (duh) Design Sponge and I instantly fell in love with the simple textures and patterns. Check out more on Etsy!

#3. While perusing through my RSS reader I came across this wedding and saw this image. I am absolutely LOVING the lights hanging from the trees! I’m kinda a sucker for lights in trees at any occasion. I love the way these are just hanging and not perfectly placed.

#4. This super fun branch pendant DIY is way cool!!! I love it’s unique take on traditional lighting. Who doesn’t want a hanging branch with bulbs on it??

Merry Christmas EVE!!!! Tonight, my family celebrates Christmas. We have always done it on the 24th. We have dinner, open presents and just hang out. Tomorrow morning we go back over to the g-parents and have our annual Portuguese breakfast. It’s the best and I start salivating once December hits.

So, I know it’s Friday and all but I had this stuff saved for this weeks Mad Love and I didn’t have time to do it Monday….SO, since I make my own rules it’s happening now!

#1. Knack Studios specializes in refurbishing old furniture. It’s pretty ridiculous how cute she makes these old pieces look!

#3. So, it’s a known fact. I’m obsessed with Design Sponge. I could find something there that i like every single second of the day. This little color gift buying guide was pretty clever and of course, I was drawn to the yellow/gold one.

#5. If you are a fellow procrastinator then you will appreciate these adorable gift wrapping ideas over at Oh, Hello Friend. I wrapped mine like the first photo. Brown paper and twine. Of course, my packages don’t look as neat as these, they’re still cute =)
