A.R.C. & Toms. Sacramento Portrait Photography.
I had the pleasure of working a few shoots with Jeremy McCain the past few weeks. Jeremy and Michael have been great friends for years and I’m happy to call him one of my friends now. He is an excellent photographer, (check out his work HERE!) and was asked to do a shoot for American River College in Sacramento for their upcoming magazine that would be featuring some of the talented fashion designers on their campus. This outfit is just one of the five ensembles that were given to Jeremy to shoot. I think Aubrey worked it and did an amazing job modeling! and.. I know you can’t really see it in these photos but, her sister Whitney, basket weaved her hair! It looked soooo awesome!
mmm…my toms. My yummy yummy toms. I love these shoes. They’re the new style Toms just came out with and boy am I diggin’ them. They have laces that actually go in the holes but I’m too cool for that. I love the texture of them and ask Michael, I’m obsessing over gray right now! If you’re in and around Sac, you can get them at Heritage in Roseville… and if you’re in Visalia, well…I don’t know where you can get them. If anyone knows let me know and I’ll add it in here! But basically, they rock my socks off and I just wanted to share their cuteness with you all!
two month hiatus…
Wow, apparently I took the summer off from the blog. But, Im back! I have sooo many amazing shoots to blog about! I can’t wait to share them! You do get a sneak peak of one of my “day after shoots” with Suzy and Gerad on my banner. Love it !! You may have noticed, Michael did a few changes with the blog for me. I needed to switch things up a bit, and I looove this . (Give Michael some props on the good work, I’m a pain to work with because I can’t make a decision for the life of me (I blame that on my family , you know who you are)) I also made my images a tad bit smaller since they were kind of overwhelming to look at that big and added my logo. I must say, I’m a happy girl!
In other news, want to give everyone a heads up, Megan Welker Photography will be changing up a bit (or, a lot) within the next few months. I’ll give you more details when everything gets closer to being done but I’m really really excited about it!!
I have so much to catch up on, so, since today starts a new month and a very very good month, I’m going to attempt to do a blog a day until I’m all caught up! Lets see how this goes!
and..since posts are boring without a photo…here’s little Miley during her 6 month shoot yesterday! how cute is she!?
new town…new adventures!
I have been completely ignoring my blog lately and am sorry to all my readers (suz, lol) but I have a really good excuse! I moved to Sacramento a week ago today and have been a busy busy bee
*side-note: I will still be going to Visalia frequently so if you want a shoot there I am more than willing to drive down
* Michael has introduced me peach pit..which is very similar to pinkberry down south.. it’s super yummy and we have now gone just about every night. I’m a nanny to Michaels niece, Amelia and she’s the most precious little thing! Plus, she lets me get work done while she naps, so it works out perfectly! Here’s a little sneak peak from a maternity session I did this past weekend! More to come soon..We ran out of light because of a slight location problem.. lol. So, we’re doing part two of the shoot this week
Ken and Taryn were soooo much fun! Can’t wait to hang out again. Here’s a favorite from the session! Can you guess…boy or girl?
