Hawaii! Part 2..
So, in conclusion to Hawaii Part 1, I give you Hawaii Part 2! My final dose of images from my fabulous trip. I had a dream last night that I was there again and I didn’t know I was going there but luckily I had my bathing suit on… and that’s all I had with me. Very, Very strange dream. Anyways, on with the images! We stopped at DOLE where they grow tons and tons of different kinds of pineapple. The pineapple there is sooo good. That’s about all we ate!
baby pineapples…
pink pineapples!
Then, we made our way to Turtle Bay. We thought we got there too late to see the giant turtles make their way onto the shore, so I snapped some photots of the scenery instead.
But, we were wrong! They finally started making their way to the shore to “bask”.
North Shore..
This one’s for Wynter. Hibiscus flowers are really only pretty in Hawaii =)
One of our final nights was spent at Paradise Cove for a luau. We met up with our entire family and had an absolute blast! Isn’t it gorgeous there?
Ironically, on Veterans Day we made our way to The Arizona Memorial. It was such an amazing experience.
The names of the men that lost their lives on that day.
Still, to this day, the ship still leaks oil, you can see it coming out here.
Hawaiian Rainbows =)
And…our departure day… at the airport at dusk.. This was the longest. day. EVER! Plus, I didn’t want to leave so that made it worse!
But..it was an amazing trip, we got to do and experience soo much! Thank you G-pa =)
Hawaii! Part 1..
It is so hard to believe that a week ago I was in Oahu….The land of see through water and perfect weather. Eight days flew by way..way too fast and I find myself missing Hawaii. A lot. Maybe, just maybe I’ll visit again soon..very soon. But for now, I have pictures to remind me of the beautiful island!
This post is dedicated to days 1-4 of our island getaway. There are just way too many photos to go through, it’s taking me longer than I thought! Since our room was on the 34th floor we had an amazing view.. so I took advantage and got some pretty amazing shots. Enjoy
We ventured to Nuuanu Pali State Park to look at the amazing view… This was probably the windiest place EVER!
…but, it was quite breathtaking..
The China mans Hat!
We finally made our way to the Polynesian Cultural Center where we saw monkeys… I mean, men climb up palm trees…
..and we saw an amazing show called, Ha! The breath of life.
We had a relaxing day with no agenda so we decided to go to the Honolulu Zoo which just so happened to be walking distance from our hotel!
There were turtles about 1000000 times larger than these but I liked this photo better.
This guys was such a show off. He stopped to “pose” for us!
This photo is called, “even ugly animals need their photo taken” enjoy.
Here’s a little FYI… did you know it’s a myth that porcupine’s shoot out their quills when they’re scared? good thing because that’s them on the right..
Hope you enjoyed
Be on the lookout for Hawaii.. Part 2 soon!

If I get eaten by a shark…
In three days I will be basking in the warm, warm sun on a beach in Oahu.. yep, for a week I will be doing nothing but sipping Mai-Tai’s and getting a nice golden tan.. Notice how I haven’t said anything about the waters of Hawaii? That’s because I’m deathly afraid I’m going to be eaten by a shark. Michael keeps reassuring me, saying the only thing I should be worried about it getting attacked by a jellyfish and then having to pee on myself.. but I think otherwise. As I google images of Oahu I’m seeing a whole lot of photos of sharks soo I’m going to stay with my gut and be oh-so afraid of the water…
P.S. This is not my photo…. mine are going to be way cooler. But this is the only decent one I found while sifting through all the shark infested water photos.
I won’t be back until Nov. 12th so if you send me an email between now and then, I most likely won’t answer until I’m back home. Happy November everyone

Hahaha. I hope you have an amazing time, and that you conquer your fear of the shark-infested water

hi! I’m a first time visitor to your blog. Loving your work. I can relate to the fear of sharks… although I think in general they aren’t actually all that interested by humans. If they do attack it’s more ‘cos they’ve mistaken us for a seal! So… make like a starfish and you should be fine. LOL. Plus with water that clear you should be able to see them a mile away. Or you could just paddle in the shallows. Either way, enjoy your trip. It sounds heavenly. Looking forward to seeing what you capture with your camera while you’re there!

Wow! These are so awesome! It looks like I have to go to Hawaii now haha. I’m loving the rainbow shot, pineapple shot, american flag shot, plane shots, hawaii49 shot .. awesome awesome awesome. keep it up!
All these photos are breath taking Megan! Love them all.
