The most amazing girls trip EVER!
So, last week nine amazingly talented photographers and myself traveled down into the desert to stay at a very hipster hotel. The Ace Hotel was a photographers dream! So many little nooks and crannies to shoot in, amazing light, and the most friendly atmosphere. {well, with most of the staff} We spent the days cooking under the sun, shooting photos around the hotel of each other, sipping on desert facials and adult arnold palmers, and chasing down a heart balloon in the pool. Our nights were spent eating great food in the diner, having the most random chats in our rooms and truly getting to know each other. I was so humbled to be apart of this group of amazing women. Each is spectacular in her own way but every single one has an amazing talent and kind heart that makes you feel like you’ve been friends for eternity. Since we felt like yearly trips would just be too long to not hang out, we’ve decided to do a trip every six months instead! Thank you so much Amanda, Adrienne, Ashley, Ala, Heidi, Heather, Jordana, Jackie and Mary, you all have inspired me beyond belief. I’m already counting down the days till I get to see your pretty faces again, but this time in Catalina =)

I really wouldn’t call myself adventurous. Like, at all.
I said that I should document the fact that I bought my first romper. Well, I’m documenting.
Oh, and I’m wearing heels. Another thing I never do! I guess that’s what bff’s do to you, make you branch out and be a smidgen advenurous =)
I love her long time.
Wynter and I have officially been friends for 10 years this year!! WOW! I love her so much and couldn’t imagine my life without her as my best friend. I still remember the first time we met in 8th grade. She was wearing a tank top that had big ol’ red sequined lips on it. (Hot, goo, so hot.) She always got in trouble for dress code because she was so tall. haha. Thank you for being my bff goo. Laff you.

Today is a special day…It’s a day we celebrate our independence and a day to be thankful that we live in this wonderful county but most of all It’s special because……. It’s my Birthday! I’m a whoppin’ 23 years old today.
Here are 23 things you may or may not know about me =)
1. I prefer crunchy peanut butter over creamy.
2. I hate being called Meg.
3. I dislike patriotic paraphernalia. Just because my birthday just so happens to be the 4th of July does not mean I want a flag dress. I’m just sayin’.
4. I’m a Cancer and it literally pins me to a T. Watch out mood swings!
5. I never carry cash.
6. I have a slight purse addiction. In fact, I need a new one now.
7. My favorite movie is P.S. I Love You, (well that and Love Actually and Serendipity.)
8. I’d rather have one best friend than 10 acquaintances. In fact, I have the best friend anyone could ask for =)
9. My family is the most important thing to me.
10. I’m a sucker for all things antique/vintage. Especially furniture. I blame it on my Mom.
11. I used to barrel race.
12. Sometimes I wish I was pale with pretty red hair. I blame it on THIS GIRL.
13. I’m a serious Hopeless Romantic.
14. I’ve never traveled to a foreign country.
15. I love cats!! I’ve had 7.

18. I love fruit. I’d take an edible arrangement over flowers any day.
19. I would probably still be shooting on auto if it weren’t for Michael.

AHH!!!! So amazing! I love every single picture so much, it takes me back there! I’m so glad you were able to come. I’m pretty sure me, you, and Mary spent the MOST amount of time together and I’m glad you didn’t get too sick of me!! Can’t wait for Catalina!
