Mr. Nick Yoder
Michael, Nick and I went out downtown the other night and shot some impromptu photos of Nick. We had about an hour before we lost sunlight so we shot just down the street from our place. Nick is one of our really good friends and happens to be an amazing musician. I love that he brought some of his guitars as props.
I think I may work well under pressure because I love so many of these images. Beware: there is a ton of sunflare, well…because I love it.

Nick recently broke his guitar during a show…so, we embraced the broken strings.

Even though it’s out of focus…I like it!

Valerie
Michael and I had so much fun last weekend with Valerie. I’ve known her for umpteen years.. we were totally in 4-h sewing together back in the daaaay. I made boxer shorts…I think she made something way cooler. She contacted me a couple months ago and wanted to do this shoot as a surprise for her husband for their 5 year anniversary this weekend! He had no clue she what she was up to, we were cracking up trying to figure out what she should tell him she was doing! We had a blast roaming around downtown. Valerie seriously rocked the session, she was such an amazing model. Thank you for choosing me to photograph you Valerie! Happy Anniversary, have fun in SF!

um..aren’t these the sassiest shoes ever?!

I love this whole set in the alley. love love love.

These next three are definitely my absolute faves. She’s gorgeous!

We found these awesome old chairs and couch in a law firm building, we had fun making our own little studio space!

After sneaking into law firm buildings and closed restaurants that kicked us out, we went across the street to another restaurant with much nicer people =) They let us roam free in their bar and we got some amazing shots! I love the look of these.

Oh, and I finally made a slideshow! I can’t believe it took me this long to do. But, you should watch it because I like this song.

Raquel Leal
Raquel contacted me a few month ago about doing a portrait session. She mentioned that she was a photographer from Tulare /Visalia (woop woop) and wanted some new photos for her up and coming website! I was literally blown away! Another photographer wants me to shoot photos of them?? Then, after looking at her blog, I was even more nervous… ok, so now a really talented photographer wants me to shoot them!? Ahhh! After exchanging emails and texts, we figured out a starting location and just a couple weeks ago that’s where we met! I knew right off the bat that I would love her! She is the sweetest thing and I had a blast getting to know her during our session! I’ll let you know when her new website is up, but for now, check out her work on her BLOG. Here are just a few (or more) of her session. I honestly can’t choose a favorite because I love them all!
Thank you Raquel, for choosing me to photograph you! Enjoy your photos.
