Oh, 2009, how I loved thee.
Seriously, it’s 2010 already? This year went by soo fast! I’ve learned so much and grown a lot as a photographer. I finally found my niche; I love sun flare and happy, up for anything people, babies, and couples in love. I’ve made so many connections with photographers and clients from around the country and feel absolutely blessed by it. Thank you to all the people that have made this love of mine possible. I think I would be truly miserable if I was a nurse instead =) So here’s a little recap of some of my favorite images from 2009. It has really been an amazing year, but I am so excited for what 2010 has to offer!
Oh, and p.s. A 365 project is starting tomorrow. I will be taking a self-portrait everyday for a year. It’s definitely going to be a challenge but I know it will make me stretch my creativity and grow even more as a photographer. Also, I’m working on a new blog/website with the oh so talented Michael Martinho, who just happens to be my oh so handsome hunny. I’m really excited to share all these new and exciting things with you! Happy New Years everyone, be safe tonight and have some fun! I’ll be shooting all my photos tonight on my new Fuji Instax Mini =) Thanks Gma & Gpa. Love you.
The Inchcliffs! Visalia Wedding Photography
Travis and Barbara got married on September 19th In Visalia, Ca at Victorian Gardens. Which, lucky for the couple, is owned by Travis’ parents! It was a beautiful day and the the couple was so easy going! Trav and Barb opted for a first look, which I love! it made the whole day run so smooth! I love these to images from when they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day.
LOVE this one from their portraits!
How GQ does Travis look in this photo? Love it!
This, I must say, was Barbara’s idea! This is Michael’s shot of it, we had so much fun with this shot!
love his expression as his bride walks down the isle.
Their adorable little girl! Aren’t those blue eyes to die for!?
My favorite detail from the day, I adore these!

Jenna and Justin. Chico Wedding Photography.
Jenna and Justin got married last month and due to the lack of time during their wedding, they didn’t have a lot of time to get photos of just the two of them. So, that’s where I came in! Jenna asked me to do a Day After Shoot and I happily agreed
I absolutely love Day After Shoots! I feel like the couple is able to be so much more relaxed and don’t have the stress that the wedding day (sometimes) brings. Plus, you get to have fun and get your dress dirty! Michael and I drove up to Chico Sunday to meet Jenna and Justin and while we drove through tons of gorgeous fields and old rustic barns, the sun only peeked out of the gloomy clouds a couple of times.. I was so nervous that it was going to start pouring the minute we got there. But…it didn’t! Actually, the sun was perfect and stayed out the whole time. It worked out perfectly and Jenna chose the greatest locations! I am in love with this rustic covered bridge and Chico State for all of the gorgeous brick buildings! Jenna and Justin, I hope you love these as much as I do! I can’t wait till you guys get to see the rest! Thank you for letting me photograph you guys!
some pretty details…I loved Jenna’s shoes and couldn’t help shooting them.. of course, Michael’s shoe photo won, I must say, his was way cooler than mine.
another shot by Michael, this is his view while I was shooting right behind Jenna. For some reason, I really like this photo
ok, I couldn’t decide on one, so these next three are my favorites!
I love this one too! A herd of sorority girls walked by and every single one yelled “congratulations”. I love their honest laughs in this photo.
