Mad ♥ Mondays
Well good afternoon (evening?) my sweet friends!! It has been quite the busy last two weeks for me! Last weekend was the BFF’s bridal shower and then the boy and I drove down to LA for a few days & he shot a Two Faced event…um, holler! Lola and I got to enjoy the dog beach with Lydia, Mary & Heidi..(& Rilo, Frank & Roxy too!!) We came back to reality mid week and this past weekend has been spend doing a shoot, having a fabulous coffee date with a dear friend and a baby shower! Phew…The month of April is already wearing me out and it’s only the 4th! Less than 4 weeks away from Wynter’s big day! AH! I cannot wait! The details are all coming together perfectly and I can’t wait to share the images!
But I’ll shut up and get to the good stuff =)

#6. {drum roll please} My favorite thing on today’s post. I love it so much, in fact, that I built one of these bad boys today =)

Wanna know how I did it? Um, no biggie! I actually did a step by step tutorial for all you visual learners like me!
Step #1: Start with an old beat up suitcase that was given to you from a sweet friend for props or something like that =) {thanks Suz!}

Step #2: Go to your local hardware store and purchase some table legs, screws, and um, some silver things that go into the suitcase.

Step #3: Get your stain on!

Step #4: Be a little bit random and stain the suitcase too!

Step #5: If your table legs did not come with screws already in them, stick em in!

Step #6: Screw in the silver things

Step #7: Admire your pretty stained table legs and then screw them into the silver things on the suitcase!

Step #8: And…….VOILA!
The most adorable table in the world.

Adore this. Hmm. May have to try it myself. Let’s see what I find thrift shopping in the next few days!
Nice job on the suitcase. Looks great! I saw that on Design Sponge too. I love the duvet cover on the bed but people say it’s no longer at Ikea. Darn!
Great Idea Megan! I have been getting old suitcases (The kinds with the hard exterior) and painting on them. It’s fun and they turn out really cute! I am definitely going to have to try your idea too!
Love it, missed that on design sponge, but it’s a great idea!
good to see you Saturday!
I think this is pretty awesome, I would like to try to make something like this….definitely good job and looks legit. Did you put stain on the suitcase or was it that color?
