Well hellooooo! It’s Monday, but not just any Monday. It is the Monday before my best friend’s wedding. Like, it’s freaking 5 DAYS AWAY! Holy. Crap. All the details are coming together perfectly! I am so excited to photograph it all! Ya, you heard right. I’m totally pulling a Jasmine Star. {For those of you who have no idea what that means, she’s an uber talented wedding photographer in Southern Ca and totally photographed her sister’s wedding/was the MOH.} Which describes me! I just knew that if I didn’t photograph it at all I’d be so super bummed. So they decided to do a first look {wooooo!} which means I get to do all portraits before the wedding and detail shots of all the amazing “little things” then enjoy myself! I’m sooo stinkin lucky to have my dear friend and fellow photog, Raquel Leal being my amazing second shooter/life saver! I couldn’t ask for a better person to be there!!
AND, another reason why this Monday is super special? It’s my beautiful friend Mary’s birthday!!! She is the most inspirational, encouraging, beautiful, heartfelt {I really could just go on & on……& on} person I know. If you know her, are fb friends, twitter friends…go wish her a very happy birthday! I love you Mary, wish I could be with you to celebrate today!
Ok, enough of my fabulous friends 
Here are some of my fav things from the week! Enjoy!
#1. Vera Wang for David’s Bridal. At first I thought it was lame but then I saw the dresses. & then I saw the prices of said dresses. They’re beautiful! Way to go David!
#2. Succulents. Only because they’re the main focus around Wynter & Will’s wedding this weekend. I seriously can’t wait to share the photos!
#3. My mom is a genius. She talked about making a headboard out of an old door once before and then voila! It’s on Design Sponge! Check out the before & after, it looks great! Plus looks super easy to do!
#4. So, this is a pretty cool new concept! A place where new artists put their songs and you, the listener get to decide if it’s good or not! Try it out!
#5. Apparently I’m obsessed with maps nowadays. You all remember that aaaaaadorable heart map? right. LOVE. Well, Urban now has map letters. HELLO! Hold the door and get me one!

…and by sweetness, I mean those split seconds between the jumping, yelling, hitting eachother with a baseball bat, {which apparently is fun for little boys} and tumbling over one another. Those moments when the middle brother wants to cover up his baby brother because he doesn’t want him to be cold. Or the times when the biggest brother helps his little brother up after tumbling over. It’s those sweet moments in between that really matter.
I will never understand boys. But I sure am glad I get to capture those in between moments.
