Big Bear – Traveling Hearts Society {Part 2}
Day two with the girls. We went to Magic Mountain! A place to tube and where the Alpine Slide lives! {We all felt so a la Cool Runnings}
Enjoy!

After we all had a go at the Alpine Slide, we grabbed a tube and headed for the snowy mountain!

It had an walking escalator going up the mountain. HEAVEN! I would have DIED walking up it each time. It also happened to have amazing light =)

After an afternoon of getting snow down our boots and racing children down the mountain, we went out on a search for somewhere snowy, with trees to shoot. I’m just gunna throw this out there…..IT WAS FREEZING COLD.

These girls have my heart. I love them.
Next trip. Santa Cruz. July.
To say, “I can’t wait” would definitely be an understatement.
xoxo ♥
Big Bear – Traveling Hearts Society
It started out as just a girls getaway. A trip to Palm Springs to hang out at a cool hotel and get to know some industry peeps. Well that went so incredibly well that we planned another trip… & before this trip was over we planned the next one. We were all acquaintances, during Palm Springs we turned into friends, after Big Bear we each had a deep and meaningful relationship with each and every woman there. I feel so blessed and so incredibly lucky to have met these girls. They inspire me to the moon and back and I’m not sure what I did to deserve them but I’m very, very thankful.
In July of 2010, we went to probably the warmest place in all of California….Palm Springs. We probably lost about 2olbs each from sweat so for this trip we decided to go somewhere cold. Big Bear it was!!! I really cannot say enough good things about this trip. I fell in love with shooting in the snow. I want to shoot there everyday. & that’s exactly what we did there. I’m pretty sure we all fell in love with the way that the snow photographs and reflects the light. It’s really Heaven….
Here’s a little peak into my week with The Traveling Hearts Society. {which, naturally, is our name <3}

The lovely Meg Perotti

One of the most beautiful women I know. Both inside and out.

The hilarious and sultry Jordana Hazel

The most sweetest, Heidi Ryder

The girl with the best hair, & the best group shots =)

Gladys Jem. Who I could shoot all day, everyday.

The bride to be. Ms. Diandra Ann

Ms. Amanda Rae. She makes any tree look good. Well, mainly because she’s beautiful.

The most stylish, Ala =) She’s so awesome, she only needs one name.

The person who I share my favorite radio station with and who always has dramamine handy =)

We drank wine.

We climbed over a fence in someone’s backyard and shot photos on the lake. the most beautiful view and light.

Then we walked around our adorable little cabin filled neighborhood.

Part 2 will be posted tomorrow! There’s just too much goodness to all share in one day =)

Meenah & Shaobo
Meenah and Shaobo were married at the GORGEOUS Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside, Ca last year. I was so honored to shoot alongside Adrienne Gunde on this beautiful day. The weather tormented us with gray skies and rain clouds but the ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. Not one, but TWO rainbows shown bright as the two shared their vows and became husband and wife. Pretty perfect if you ask me!
Who knew vineyards could be so beautiful in the fall! Meenah and Shaobo braved the freezing cold for amazing portraits in the yellow leaves! As I was bundled in a wool coat and boots, Meenah was in her wedding gown and rocking it. I give her some mad props for that =)

A Groom that dougies? Yes, please.

Meenah & Shaobo, I wish you the happiest of days in your new marriage!!
