You see, I had planned on doing some elaborate Christmas self portraits but then life got in the way and I decided to enjoy the moment instead. I have 10/9 photos left of this project and it’s honestly caught me off guard. I can’t believe a whole year has gone by! I’ve tried to be good and do one every single day but sometimes it’s extremely hard!
So, since it’s the holiday’s here’s a little set of my Christmas Eve, my family celebrates then and we get to chow down all night and open presents! I usually know every single present I’m getting because, well, I pick them all out. But this year, Gma completely surprised me and got me the Sex and The City Complete Season! I was soooooooo excited and I can’t wait to sit around and watch them all =) Lola bean is also looking mighty precious for Christmas and Darren and I like to accidentally wear matching gray stripes, mainly because we’re just cool like that.
Since Christmas Day was spent entirely in my pj’s and without my camera, here’s a photo of how beautiful the Valley can be =)

Merry Christmas EVE!!!! Tonight, my family celebrates Christmas. We have always done it on the 24th. We have dinner, open presents and just hang out. Tomorrow morning we go back over to the g-parents and have our annual Portuguese breakfast. It’s the best and I start salivating once December hits.
So, I know it’s Friday and all but I had this stuff saved for this weeks Mad Love and I didn’t have time to do it Monday….SO, since I make my own rules it’s happening now!
#1. Knack Studios specializes in refurbishing old furniture. It’s pretty ridiculous how cute she makes these old pieces look!

#3. So, it’s a known fact. I’m obsessed with Design Sponge. I could find something there that i like every single second of the day. This little color gift buying guide was pretty clever and of course, I was drawn to the yellow/gold one.

#5. If you are a fellow procrastinator then you will appreciate these adorable gift wrapping ideas over at Oh, Hello Friend. I wrapped mine like the first photo. Brown paper and twine. Of course, my packages don’t look as neat as these, they’re still cute =)

I’m a procrastinator through and through. My family celebrates Christmas tomorrow, on Christmas Eve, so of course I finished my shopping tonight. Oh, and wrapping……ya… haven’t even started. I think my New Years Resolution will be to be better about getting things done before their deadlines =)
