Thankful.

Sometimes it takes a rainy, quiet afternoon to get you to take a step back and evaluate your life. Today, I reminded myself how thankful I am. Thankful for my healthy family and friends. Thankful for being able to do what I absolutely love and call it a career. And..thankful for the wonderful world wide web. I think networking is such a big part of having a successful business. I’ve been reading Tim Sander’s book “love is the killer app” and he talks about being a “lovecat” and sharing your knowledge with your business partners. I love that! And, thanks to sites like Twitter and Facebook it is so easy to be a “lovecat”. This morning as I checked my tweets I saw that Kat from Rock n’ Roll Bride featured my fun shoot with Wynter! I love being able to show my work on such an awesome blog! If you are a bride, or actually, anyone, you need to check out her blog! It is so fun and she features some amazing work from all over the world!

On a total side-note.. Michael’s big 26th birthday was last Tuesday and we all went out to dinner to celebrate. As I cracked open my yummy little fortune cookie and read my fortune, I was shocked to read that it actually was completely true!! I am so excited to be jumping on a plane in less than two weeks and spending a week in Oahu! Well, I’m not all that excited about the actual plane flight but I am excited about the sandy beaches and fabulous water!

P.S. for my fellow Iphone lovers…this photo was taken with my phone and then processed in my favorite app, Ishake it!! It’s so much fun and makes all my crappy iphone photos look so much cooler!
